In addition to software testing during my doctorate, my laboratory research work focuses on two areas: decision support to assist policymakers and the use of machine learning techniques to estimate and predict time series: renewable energy and pollutants.

Research projects

  • Since 2021: Researcher within the scientific project funded by ANR-21-CE04-0014-03 SAPHiR (Sensor Augmented weather Prediction at High Resolution) ~ € 300k, 23 teacher-researchers involved, 3 partners - Prediction of stormy episodes intense by exploiting the results of a numerical prediction system, meteorological sensor networks, satellite observations and also ad hoc local sensor networks via machine learning techniques. In charge of relations with industry and international cooperation, saphir.universita.corsica.

  • Since 2021: Associate researcher at the Center for French Civilization and Francophone Studies at the University of Warsaw - coordinator of a scientific project on the ethical issues of algorithms and artificial intelligence.

  • 2015 to 2017: European research project Horizon 2020: Low Carbon Energy Local / small-scale storage LCE-08-2014) TILOS, ~ 11 M €: "Technology Innovation for the Local Scale, Optimum Integration of Battery Energy Storage ”. The TILOS research project aims to develop and operate an intelligent, innovative hybrid system using solar and wind energy that will cover the electricity needs of the inhabitants of the island of Tilos in Greece through a storage system - 13 partners academics, industrialists or electricity operators from 7 European countries, https://www.tiloshorizon.eu.

  • 2013 to 2015: Hubert Curien program (PHC) PLATON 2013, Project 30355UE, ~ 10k € Development of sustainable models of energy and water supply for the Mediterranean islands by use of renewable energies .

  • 2010 to 2017: Research collaboration contract with the association Qualitair Corse for the development of a pollutant forecasting tool.

  • 2010 to 2012: European project "Implementation of E-Learning Content for Energy Saving Farm into Vocational Education: ECEVE", the objective of which was the creation of interactive content in the field of renewable energy resources, in cooperation with 5 European institutions , 280 k €.

  • 2000 to 2003: International research contract N °: F61775-00-C0002, project 00-4005, item 0003: “Validation of VHDL description”, funded by EOARD: “European Office of Air Force Research and Development ”, ~ € 15k.
